Jazz also reserves the right to disclose and/or transfer personal information to a third party in the event of a proposed or actual purchase, sale (including a liquidation, realization, foreclosure or repossession), lease, merger, amalgamation, corporate reorganization or any other type of acquisition, disposal, transfer, conveyance or financing of all or any portion of Jazz or of any of the business or assets or shares of Jazz or a division thereof in order for you to continue to receive the same products and services from the third party.
Scheduled service flights operated by Jazz are operated on behalf of Air Canada under the brand name Air Canada Express. All sales and marketing for those flights are the responsibility of Air Canada. For your convenience, we have provided links on our Website to Air Canada’s online flight booking system. Please note that when you access these links you will be re-directed to Air Canada’s website where you may book and pay for flights and obtain travel-related information. When you do so, please be aware that any interaction and communication of information is with Air Canada and is subject to Air Canada’s Privacy Policy and Air Canada’s website terms and conditions of use. We do not collect, use or disclose any information you provide directly to Air Canada when accessing its website through the Jazz Website. However, as a service provider to Air Canada, we may be given access to your personal information in order that Air Canada may provide you with the products and services you have requested. In these circumstances, the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information by Air Canada continues to be subject to Air Canada’s Privacy Policy.
Knowledge and Consent
Jazz collects personal information about you only when you voluntarily provide it. Typically, we will seek consent for the use or disclosure of your personal information at the time of collection. In certain circumstances, consent may be sought after the information has been collected but before use (for example, when we want to use information for a purpose not previously identified).
